Privacy Policy
FinishQuote is an early-stage, local-first quoting application for renovation contractors. This policy explains the limited information handled during the New Zealand beta.
Information you provide
If you email us for beta access or support, we receive the information in your message, such as your name, email address, trade, business details, and feedback. Information entered into the current iOS beta—including projects, customers, room dimensions, materials, inventory, and quotes—is stored locally on your device while production cloud sync is disabled.
On a supported LiDAR device, RoomPlan Beta requests camera access only after you choose to start a room scan. Apple RoomPlan processes camera and LiDAR input on the device. FinishQuote stores processed room geometry, measurements, confidence information, and your review corrections; it does not store camera frames or upload scan data. Local snapshot and processed-scan files use device file protection and are excluded from backups.
How we use information
- To respond to beta and support requests.
- To operate, test, secure, and improve FinishQuote.
- To understand which contractor workflows should be prioritised.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell personal information. We may use service providers needed to operate email, website hosting, beta distribution, and support, subject to their service terms.
Retention and deletion
Local app data remains on the device until removed through the app or by deleting the app. Processed RoomPlan data is removed when its scanned room or project is deleted, or when the room is explicitly converted to manual entry. You may ask us to delete beta correspondence or waitlist information by emailing [email protected].
Security and beta limitations
No system is completely secure. Do not enter highly sensitive information into a beta build. Production cloud sync will remain unavailable until account security and tenant isolation are ready.
